Just a side note... does Rectron still require one to be a registered company and to be making a certain amount of sales per month in order to register as a dealer?

Rectron requires you to be a dealer yes. And they don't sell that cable - looked for it a few weeks ago.

You can try Linkqage - new company started by some of the Lightedge guys. Their website isn't up and running yet, and don't have their number now. They're in that new Northgate business park in Paarden Eiland. PM me on Monday if you want the number - have it at the office.

I got mine from Matrix computers, but not sure if they have a branch in Cape Town. Let me know if you want me to get one from their head office here in Alberton and ship it to you.

There are a few Matrix's around here in Cape-Town.

Interesting. Lightedge have been helpful before, but their prices are seriously retail. Will PM on Monday for that number. :)

What I was getting at about dealership with Rectron is their sign-up requirements. They used to be quite steep and I'm only an occassional supplier. I'll give them a call on Monday and find out.
