I would rather go for 2x2GB Corsair DDR2-800 RAM. Doesn't cost a lot more (maybe 300 or so) and will be better since you can upgrade your other components later on.

But otherwise a nice computer

WHere are you buying from?

Also seems like your pc lacks a hard drive, etc. ? :D

i would change the processor to the Q9300, the mobo to the p5e and get two sticks of 2gb ddr2-1066's (4gb)

Yes Change Mobo to P5E... I have one and it performs so damn well....
Also I rate drop that Nvidia :P
Get ATi 3870 :P

ATI fan then? I'm also an ATI fan, but the benchies talk for themselves. The 8800GT is just a notch better than the HD3870. :( So the 8800GT it is, if you can get it at a good price ;)

I'm a fan of Nvidia but will recommend that you take the ATI 3870, if you are looking at the 8800GT- the ATI beats the 8800GT by a little bit. The 8800GTS, however, puts the 3870 to sleep with it's performance- absolutely amazing.

Why a MoBo with onboard graphics if you are going with a 8800GT?

Cause for some reason the discrete boards seem to be more expensive.

What is the budget? Cause going for the P5E is going to double the price on the mainboard.

I do agree on going for the Q9300 though, worth the little extra.

What is the rig for?

That mobo you're getting is G33 based. For your high end rig you should get a P35 based mobo - the cheapest one I've seen is the Asup P5K for about R1200 (including VAT) at PCint.
