HP vp6110 Projector Lamp

Hi

Does anyone know of a good (preferably cheap) place where i can get a vp6110 projector lamp?

I seem to notice that it costs R2200 which i must admit is quite steep...

Well what prompted us to find out about getting a new lamp is that after a few minutes it just switches off.

I can't suggest where you can get a cheap lamp. but that price you got is already darn cheap. I work in a school filled with data projectors, and every time a bulb goes it's about 3 grand to replace them. We have mostly Epsons.

In your case I'm not sure if it would be the bulb, if it was the bulb you'd have a dim or no output at all. I think it could possibly be a power supply issue, or the cooling fan has failed and the projector switches off to protect itself.
