I just watched my first movie on my phone, in Dolby Mobile nogal.
It's brilliant! All I did was to select "Mass storage device" when I connected my phone to my pc, created a folder on the memory card called "Video" & copied the avi file to the folder on the memory card. The movies app picks it up immediately and just tap on the movie to start it. Normal stereo is good, but the sound is excellent with Dolby Mobile!

I can see myself buying at least two more chargers for my phone. One for the office & one for "on the go".![]()
The more I use this phone the more I wonder why anyone would consider an iphone
Will a normal USB charger suffice for in the car....?
My mini usb HTC charger doesn't... doesn't fit? :wtf:
I am getting the same thing. It is telling me that it is switched off and says I need to enable it. I have it enabled though...
I made no comparisons :twisted:
May I finish my story please?
I am now a proud owner of the HTC Desire HD. Got it just over an hour ago. I compromised the Blackberry Torch with BIS for the sake of seeing what all this runcuss are about. It looks great from first impressions. I still have to configure the beast. So I am not sorry at all I stumbled in here yesterday.
Thanks guys. A for great thread.
Now to upgrade to Android v2.3.
Sigh, im still having issues with sense.com ... keeps telling me that phone finder needs to be switched on and it is
always active and i dont get the whole map thing with dashboard :{
Question - is the phone supposed to stay off when you pick it up - i.e. you push the power button to activate the screen?
