Nope mate, I'm also still waiting. Ordered on Wednesday morning, and they said 3-5 working days, so ... any moment now ...
 
I was told last week, end of the week and now any day this week. Lies!
 
I'm screw'd 'cos I'm due for an upgrade but I don't wanna renew with MTNSP.
I cannot loose my number and MTNSP say I can only port it in March 2011 (end of contract).
Can anyone please help me find a loop hole to get out of this !!!
Are you allowed to pay up the balance of a contract?

Yup, but it might be very costly. Think it's MTN Cancellations. Not sure. Just phone 808 and say you want to cancel your contract early, cos you're moving to the UK.
 
Well MTN phoned me today so very excited rush home full out the tones of paper work and now im trying to fax it back but the fax wont go through!!! Like I said FML hahaha!

hehe, i filled out the forms and faxed and emailed it back to them in 15 minutes. this was like at ten in the morning. the mtn douchebag waited until quarter to five in the afternoon to phone me back to tell me that the little bit of stock they got in had run out before he had a chance to process me!

naah, he's not that bad. as long as he posted my phone on friday, like he said he would!
 
hey can we use the battery from the EVO for the DHD???

Edit : EVO having a 1500 mAh battery and DHD only 1230???

Edit2: BTW the EVO and the DHD are nooooot the same phone there are a few distinct differences

Someone posted a link earlier for a company that is busy manufacturing a bigger battery for the Desire HD. However, I think we can expect a bigger one from HTC themselves in the New Year.

Yep i read that one as well but to be honest i'd much rather take something from HTC themself, so i'd rather wait for
an HTC product as apposed to the GenieWish HTC Desire HD Ace
 
Yaaaaaaaaaaay!!!!!!!! Just got conformation of my upgrade and they say my handset should be delivered by Thursday or Friday this week!! So excited its stupid. Must say the service I got was super fast and efficient(maybe just lucky). Only prob is im super scared they gonna send me a normal desire :( but I did specifiy a million times that its the HD. Thanks to everyone on the forum for keeping me going and for the great reviews. keep them coming! already download the gps status app for my galaxy tab thnks to you guys :)
