HTC One X

Began with a Desire myself, now replaced with my one x. Mate of mine(self admitted status whore) has the iphone4s, and my sister the gs2. Played with all of these phones and can say without (much) bias that one x > gs2 > iphone4s > desire. Personally would take my old desire over the iphone though.

In terms of OS purely.. that's also a personal preference thing, however i must say that while iOS really does work all the time as you put it, android just offers that little bit of je ne se qua that makes tech savvy people need a cold shower.

No denying that! iOS did take some getting used after having been on Android for long. It's severely limited unless jailbroken.

!@#$ !@#$ !#@$ !#@$ !@#$ i just dropped my one x on the road! there's a little dent on the bottom left the size of a pinhead

edit : Phone did well though, seeing as i dropped it from shoulder height when i tripped, and it was on tar, and im tall.

Gs3 review http://tinyurl.com/79yqp8a

The worst thing about the GS III? No matter how hard it tries, it just isn't greater than the sum of the HTC One X's parts. That's not to say it falls short, but merely to emphasize that times have changed since last year's Galaxy S II, which landed on an unsuspecting world that was largely devoid of predators. The Snapdragon variant of the One X has similar computing power, battery life and photographic credibility, but it also has a much better user interface that sticks more closely to the guiding ethos of Android 4.0. The One X also has a more forward-looking physical design, while the GS III clings to the tried and true styles of old. Perhaps the biggest sacrifice you'd make by going for the One X over the GS III is the loss of the cheap storage offered by the microSD card. That's a painful thing to give up, but given how deeply we feel about the need for Android to move forward and not get stuck in a Gingerbread-flavored groundhog day, we might just take the hit.

I always use Expansys they're great.
Just got my Case-Mate Barely There Black from Expansys.co.za

Give them a try you won't be disappointed!

Ive heard bad things about Expansys and their so called delivery times. Stock is expected to ship in 10 days could meen anything. Maybe their stock is expected from the supplier in 10 days and another 3 weeks for it to arrive here. No thanks

There must be a place in SA that sells them.

Poor show on MTN's part to bring in the phone without accessories.
