HTC One X

Very dissapointed with HTC and Leaf. The One X was announced about 2/3 months before the S3 and the S3 is all over the show and the One X few and far between.
 
Yeah, and although MTN released it beginning of May, it was so quite. There wasn't evening much advertising on it.
Also Vodacom tweeted "apparently they going to have it in June" but still no announcements or advertising.
Hope they don't decide to just release the S3 and not the OneX! else moving to MTN.. lol!
 
Leaf is terrible, trying to get updates for a phone is pain. They do a great job at NOT letting the customer know what is going on.
 
So new Vodacom deals are out tomorrow.. Any hopes they have the HTC OneX???
 
For the same price why would someone get the HTC One X over the S3? Looks only? cause its surely worse on battery life, benchmarks etc etc

Better design, rom, display, camera (low light). Battery life apparently is great, just not as great as s3. You're not gonna see a performance difference in operation.

Also the s3 won't survive a fall. And i think cases shouldn't be a necessity. Like seat covers in your car.

I would still get the s3 at the same price. But not if it's more

HTC >>>>>> S3. The design is a lot nicer and solid. The cam is better and the battery life is really good on the HTC. Mine is going for 2/3 days with Wifi and bluetooth on 24/7. I believe there's an extra core that manages the other 4 cores so that it saves battery live.

They say the S3 is better in performance but will it write a sms faster then hahaha...
 
Bugger the specs, have a Note for the specs and getting the One X for the looks.
 
Has Vodacom announced pricing for the One X?
HTC got much better design and overall look and feel. Awesome camera and specs are all right up there. My friend has one and he gets very good battery life for everyday normal usage (yes, the S3 has a bigger battery though). Plus Sense is better that TouchWiz (Personal preference). Anyways, benchmarks don't really mean much.. what the guy said above.. is it going to type an sms faster. I think with these new high end phones it really just comes down to personal preference.
 
Looks play a big part in my decision, but apparently the S3 looks much better in real life than the internet pics. The design of the white one x is just amazing! Love that curved screen. Imo touchwiz is really crap. Sense could be better but it's still way more awesome. Either will be a massive upgrade in performance and will run anything out there so it doesn't matter too much to me.
 
okay so most people noted looks/design first... thats a completely valid reason. Its prettier than the S3 and not subjectively its just prettier
 
i don't know if it was this thread, but was there some issue swapping between apps? (alt+tab) has it been resolved?
