Ive ordered 2 covers from Takealot importing from UK. They are only set to arrive on the 22nd
I really need a cover for my phone ASAP. Does nobody stock them in SA?
I would like to see if Cell C will get the OneX and how they price it. With their new straight up contracts that they releasing, I would much rather sign with cell c than vodacom. If vodacom had released the OneX earlier I would have signed with then.. for a whole 24months. Much rather go with cell c now.. maybe it's a good thing they didnt release it earlier.. haha! time to switch!!
Spoke to one of the guys in the cell c shop, he said they were not going to go be offering the htc one x as they are pushing Samsung, but will just wait for 22 June to see.
How goes the battery life?
Awesome... you using 3G at all? Or is it wifi only?Battery life is slightly worse than my previous iPhone 4S, however I am doing a lot more on my phone. Its not an issue for me as it always lasts longer than a day.
For anyone wanting to purchase one for cash, I ordered mine from clove.co.uk. Delivery took 2 working days with DHL International Courier. Customs was 14% VAT + 10% duties. They also have quite a few accessories.

those who got my one x's in south africa, have you guys experienced the wifi issue? its said to be a hardware issue.
just want to find out if our s.a one x's are from the faulty batch?
Spoke to a guy at Cell C, and apparently they can get any phone for a customer even if the phone isn't advertised in their booklets (As long as the phone is available in SA). Is there any truth to that?
I basically asked if and when they will be getting the HTC OneX. It wasn't in their booklets but the guy asked if it was avail in SA, and I said that MTN has had it for a month now, so the guy said yes, it is possible to get the phone (Almost like a special order/request). Not sure of the charges/pricing yet. Anyone also come across something like this?
