Huawei E353 Compatible on CellC ??

Is any one using the Huawei E353 modem on the CellC network?

I 'm trying to connect but it gives an error saying "you cant connect before registering on the network"... tried manually registering the network, it pics up Voda and MTN only, but selecting either 1 says "forbidden"

Where this modem comes from? Overseas? Remove SIM card, you can read full model number. Does it look like E353-U2? Download MDMA latest beta and check in "Band config" whether you can select UMTS 900MHz only, if it responds with error, then you are out of luck.

HI

From what i can pick up it's UMTS 2100.
So wont work on our network.
