R50 per month x 24 months = R1200 for a S7 tablet and R50 of airtime per month for 24 months. Just watch out that they don't (by default) activate CLIP and Itemised Billing for you. This is an extra charge. No catches other than that. :D

Spoke to a sales person. The 50 airtime cannot be converted into a data bundle. You would have to buy a prepaid sim and load airtime onto that to get access to their data bundles.

Well they stressed to me that the R50 airtime that is part of the contract CANNOT be converted to a data bundle. These are the words of two of the instore staff.

I've gone through the T&C ... nothing to that degree is stated in there. Their website even goes on to explain "Why Go Hybrid?":

Use your inclusive minutes for any voice or data service.
Simply recharge with vouchers when your inclusive minutes are finished.
