Honest opinion guys.. I have been a samsung fan for all the years... The one thing that makes me nervous of huawei is the emui. Is the mate 20 pro any better with the ui than older models

That sounds like a plan have nova on all my sammy devices
EMUI 8 and up is one of the best things in Huawei.
Their UI is much better now, but they still need to work on the stock icon pack although that can also be changed via a third party app.
R19 000, pre-order starts 24 October and the device can be purchased from 31 October.

I was reading phone arena review and they said fingerprint scanner is a bit iffy due to having to put pressure on the screen, how have you found it? Quick n easy or a bit cumbersome ?
When you press on fingerprint scanner and it fails, does face unlock turn on to unlock the phone?
I would think tho that with Face unlock + fingerprint it wouldn't really be an issue, either one will open up your phone quick enough.
