Thanks. Then MTN really don't have a worthwhile offer for the handset.

That being said, has anyone managed to find a screen protector anywhere?

Vodacom has a machine that outs on a screen protector... R329. going this afternoon

Which shop? I cannot find anyone that has the files to do that yet. MTN Shop in the office park i work in says the Mate20 design has not been uploaded yet.

I had this done at Cellucity.

It was great when I walked out the store, but didn't take too long to bubble.

And then went to another branch store got tempered glass to replace that bubbly screen protector. Also, left the store and it was alright ... but a few days later when I was caught in the rain, water got under it and now I have air in the middle.

But I'll take the actual tempered glass over the cut to size any day

warra warra

Still doesn't help me figure out where you people are finding these donnerse screen protectors. I must have phoned 10 shops in the east rand area and everyone is telling me no stock

This was for my Mate 10 Pro - sorry :)

I was replying to the cut version in particular. I wasn't a fan - bubbling aside, also looked a little bleh

I have done what would be considered unthinkable (at least for me) on most mobile devices I have owned and turned off the Battery percentage setting, I simply do not need it, as the phone lasts more than long enough, all I really need to know is if it's full or almost empty at this point.

Awesome. We're trained to be so aware of how soon you need a charge, and checking your percentage. Testament to the stellar battery life

Thankfully mine has a BOE display :D

I was wonder why I couldn't see any of these issues on it, then I used an app that was suggested at XDA called: Device Info HW

"It's an issue that has plagued other handsets in the past" - 3D to much 'curved', a reason.
Time to back with 2.5D glass. :)
I am a big fan of 2.5D glass. If I am not mistaken the Galaxy Note 4 used 2.5D glass, it curved at the bezel, while the display itself was flat.

Cool feature I just discovered in EMUI, in the Accessibility Settings there is an option to turn off all UI effects, what this ultimately does is it sets the Animation stuff to Off without having able Developer Options.

The Mate 20 Pro is already a fast device, but it becomes a bullet when you turn off this setting, and then I have also set the device to Performance Mode, so it is absolutely blasting through anything I do on it, it is absolutely ridiculous

My Note8 and the iPhone X feel super slow next to this thing now
