Huawei P10 Lite

Hi all.

Looking at this phone for an upgrade - currently have an iphone 5s.

Is the phone better, or should i just wait for simething else like the p20 lite?

Really do not wish to pay more than R350/m for a phone. Had a Samsung note 3 at about R600/m - never again. Phone is still great though.

So use the 5s/note3 or upgrade to p10/20 lite?

P10 lite is great, just make sure it's the 4gb Ram version. Otherwise if you can, next version is always better.

I haven't seen a 4g version
Please update me with model number for a 4Gb and is it dual SIM

Telkom is the only place locally to get dual sim. That's where I bought the 4Gb version.

My FNB lite is a dual sim as well. The telkom one is a far east model as far as I know - no NFC?

Fnb pay. I use my nfc every day.

How did you get FNB Pay working on your device? I don't even have the option to use it in the FNB app. Unless it's account-related, but they don't specify which accounts are compatible with FNB Pay.

Do you have NFC on your phone? And the latest FNB app?
It should be available on all accounts.

Yes, I have NFC, and the latest FNB app as well. When I go into my NFC settings, FNB Pay is set as the default payment app, but there's still no option for FNB Pay in the app.

I even tried uninstalling and reinstalling the app with NFC on, but still nothing. I thought it was a device issue, but if you're using it on the P10 Lite, then it's an FNB issue.

Not there either. I checked on the Play Store, and there are quite a few people complaining about the same issue, but even on Samsung devices.

I have to say.....really like the phone. Two things .... volte and vowifi not available on the phone :mad:
I dont understand why Vodacom does not support this phone for volte and vowifi because many networks in other countries do.

Secondly, the phone does not seem to pick up Vodacom LTE-A (4G+) which is weird because carrier aggregation is switched on. My old phone picked up LTE-A :cry:
 
Mine has both. See above screenshot.
