Huawei P30 Lite

Been using my P8 lite 2015 earphones with the P30 lite. Sound is ok, not as good as the P10 lite or P8 lite 2017.

Decided to try the latest earphones with the P30 lite. Wow! It sounds like R50 earphones from Pep. Zero bass.

Dunno how to feel about this...

I've never found incremental os updates to be much to write home about. Having said that, with the P30 lite having been reissued in a 2020 version I'd be very surprised if there isn't an update in the pipeline.

Did an update a few days ago and ever since, I've been having trouble with my internet browsers. Every now and then the screen flickers and becomes unresponsive and then it shuts down all the running apps.
Anyone experienced anything similar?

I've updated some time back to 10.0.0.237. I have been having issues recently with Chrome & Edge not responding but somehow didn't attribute that to the update

Happening to me as well - I find locking the screen, giving it about 3 - 4 seconds and then unlocking, seems to get it going again

Chrome has been problematic for quite a few devices, across brands.

I haven't had any random freezing issues with mine though, on the latest 10.0.0.237 update, but I generally don't use the browser on the phone.

My 6GB Ram new version got it a few weeks back.
They are still cool phones and you can pick them up 2hnd for under R2k these days.

It's just EMUI that's updated. The Android version is still 10. If you don't get it, you're not missing out. It was 4GB to change the font and border shapes (from a user perspective). Also hopefully FNB biometric login will be dark next time I login. Slightly different Notification panel.
I have noticed a bug here and there, but not a deal breaker.
