Huawei P6

I saw the white demo model today, very, very impressed. I would have gone with the white one IMHO.

Pity Huawei support is so pathetic otherwise I would have considered this for my next upgrade.

I really wanted the white one to be honest .... but white gets dirty and that will drive me crazy!

Well, then I guess the decision has been made. Go with the black one ... unless I see them side by side then I'm back to square one. :confused:
 
P6 came off back order and released by warehouse just in good time for delivery tomorrow .... so I will have my phone for the weekend. Woooo whooooo!!!!

Damn that's so bloody unfair. I haven't even held a dummy one in my hand yet. Went to a few stores at Canal Walk yesterday but no one had anything yet to show me. :(
 
Must say, I like the design of this phone, but I'm very concerned WRT updates when it comes to LG, Huawei and ZTE. Do Huawei have a good update policy?

i think firmware updated twice already to improve performance and fix a bug here and there. as for major android version updates i hope we see at least update to kitcat

Nope, I have never rooted a phone. I am too "dom" :-)

I switched wifi off when the phone was setting up. Data is working though ... i can go on the net and gmail app is working fine.
 
Wasn't there a post somewhere about not being able to register Whatsapp over wifi as it needs to find you cell number. I remember reading some post on MyBB a while back.
