p8 lite: http://huaweifirmware.com/huawei-p8-lite
it works EVERY time for me, with no hassles. Important thing is to do a factory reset after the upgrade.
Wife's P8 Lite has been water-damaged for about 2 months now. Which is better, buying a new phone (xiaomi perhaps) or take it to ifix to be repaired?
Has anyone had to replace a phone's motherboard; how much did it cost roughly?
I am of the opinion that sub 3 grand phones should be treated as disposable's. Crack a screen or drown it and just throw it away and buy another. Hopefully the user only manages to kill said device once in a 12 month cycle, then it is cost effective to replace.
Anyone have a P9 Lite I'm trying to decide between a P9 Lite and a LG Nexus 5X any thoughts?
Loving the P8. Best value for money. My only gripe is that the numerical keys don't appear on the keyboard unless you click to open the 2nd set of keys. My S4 had all on the same screen.
From googling it might be the USB port in the phone:

Finally getting my replacement UL00 motherboard fitted.
Strikes me this requirement took huawei by surprise a bit.
anyone updated p8 lite to marshmallow?
