Yep updated my moms phone.anyone updated p8 lite to marshmallow?
Do a factory reset?I've updated my P8 lite quite a while ago to marshmallow, but now my battery life is shorter and I'm struggeling to find what is cause the additional drain.
No, used the update listed on this thread a while ago, but it did reload all my apps. I suspect on of my apps might be syncing and I don't pick it up.
Anyone having problems with locations/tracking apps on Marshmallow. Can't get my tracking apps to work properly.
I used to use Sygic's Family Tracker but that does not seem to work anymore. Started using Life 360 which seems to be working but you have to pay monthly/yearly for their services and I already bought the equivalent on the Sygic app.No issues here.
From the internet http://huafirmware.com/huawei-p8-litedid you get the marshmallow update on your phone or you took one from the internet?

Cell C is busy trialing the update, so they should release it soon. Otherwise you can download unbranded versions.
Just took the plunge on a P8 for myself after yet another issue wrestling with call microphone quality on the Galaxy S5...
I have just one thing to say
FOR FKSAKES someone please standardise on ONE fkn sim card size?!
/mumble
It came with B180 by the way.
I got my P8 a couple of months ago. The phone is great. The only disappointment is the time it is taking for huawei SA and the local SP's to release updates. My phone is currently on B151 which is very old, and apart from anything else has security vulnerabilities in it that wee discovered over a year ago. It seems that the rest of the world has at LEAST gone to a newer release of Lollipop even if they haven't gone to Marshmallow.
Does anyone know of a way to backup the standard firmware so I can load one of the unofficial releases and still downgrade back should I need to send the phone in for any reason?
