@D3x!

What is the proper procedure to follow here, if say u do all sets and on the last one which is number 5 and fail to complete it by say under 5 pushups ...do u then have to repeat it untill you manage to compete all sets 100% ...i would assume this would be the way to do it, you keep repeating the week until u can comfortably complete all sets ? Is that how everyone on here is doing it ?

yes, remember the last set is min ##, so you must at least be able to do that many, if i struggle to reach it or beat it i repeat the week, i have been on week 3 forver but there is definitely progress.

I'm on week 2 day 3 tomorrow. There is a heck of an increase between weeks hey! But I am extremely surprised how I even managed to pull off yesterday's reps.
I'm not sure if this program will get my chest much bigger ...but damn it's amazing how it builds the strength in the arms.

Was surprised that it hasn't hurt as much as expected.

Thinking of doing the sit up program too. Not sure if that's too ambitious but figure that as it is a different muscle group, it should be okay.

Not too ambitious, especially if this is the only exercise u r doing.

And for the guys hitting a brick wall in terms of progress... maybe u not eating the right foods for proper recovery and muscle growth? I would probably also look to change the type of pushups perhaps. My goal is actually not to get to be able to do 100 pushups in one go. If i can get to 50 pushups in one go, then i am gonna do a more difficult version of pushups and go back a couple of weeks rather.

edit: Go for quality over quantity!

I just completed Week 3 Day 1 barely.....! My arms are in pain and they never hurt at all in week 1 or 2
I look at at Day 2 for this week and it looks like a HUGE jump from day 1

Anyways I don't think I will make the 100 pushups ever. I will try my best but realistically I can see myself rather just doing Week 2 as a weekly exercise for ages to come.

just completed week 3. but like literally on the very last max pushup I collapsed and could not go any further

did anyone here complete the program? Did you find week 4 and onwards impossible?
Just don't think I will be able to do next week

I'm on week 4, for the second time now. Doubt I'll make out this week again but I'll go until I do! It Doesn't matter how long you take to do it. its the fact that you are trying and actually doing exercise. Well thats my view anyways :)

Update:

I had to repeat week 3 and successfuly completed that yesterday now onto week 4 next week, already starting to see a difference in the muscles.
I get by by telling myself to keep being consistent and focus on working through the program step by step, it's working for me.

Enjoy

I was on week 5 for a while - but the constant failure dissapointed me - so I stopped altogether.

3 Weeks ago I started again on week 3 - col 1.
Then I did week 3 col 2.
Then I did week 3 col 3.

I am going to follow the program this way now - do col 1 of week 4 then col 2 and then col 3 -

It will take longer - but I think actually being able to do the pushups will encourage me instead of discouraging me...

^That's a good idea. Week 4 pawn3d me.

It's easy to fly through the weeks when you're actually able to do the pushups but when you start failing it can be very discouraging
