Heh, my whole reason for starting this program, plus the fact that I need to do some sort of exercise and am not keen on joining a gym again. Will see what the test brings on Friday.

Just saw this. Please count me in and send me abusive PM's if I don't report in weekly. No real weight problem, maybe 2 or 3 kilo's but Garfield energy levels :o

PS. Is there a remote that can initiate my clone to begin the push ups?

Same thing here. I used to go to the at least 3 times a week before i started work. Then i had no time to go anymore and now i just don't like the idea of sharing equipment with sweaty men :p.

Now imagine how awesome you will feel when you can do 100 :)

I dont know what week I'm on though since I'm following my android app. What I can tell you is that yesterday my total push ups were 80.

Today is squats day and pullups day :D

80, that sounds around week 4.

Today is day 2 of week 3 for me, yesterday i did squat :p

I am redoing week 5 - currently on collumn 2 -

OUCH... What impresses me - is even though I did not manage the last set - I am consistantly completing more and more pushups with every exhaustion test :)


Soon, 4 weeks - maybe 6 i'll be able to do the 100...

I started this program on Tuesday, so no :p But have been doing push ups randomly with no real purpose before that. The pull ups though, definately seen something happen there. Even with my random routine, haha

Just read through this thread and you guys are going to make me go to gym again. I mean they take money from me every month, may just as well make use of it.

Will look into more detail re your pushup program tonight. Pushups are definately a great exercise. Thinking of getting me a pullup bar.

Great to hear! perhaps you could alternate between the program and going to gym.

Verimark sells the pull up bars.

Haha, cool man. I'm going to start doing pull ups as well, and I'm starting to go to gym on Monday again so lets see what happens :)
 
i know this is not exactly what this thread is about, but 3 weeks ago at our Vitality day, I managed 66 pushups in 1 minute

i wonder if i can 100 in one go (over a longer period though)

sheesh impressive! and they were good form push ups? not humping at the ground kind of thing :p

why don't you start up the program?
