How can I check the load on my particular Base Station?
I know how to check the signal strength and other things just not the actual load.
Also - how do you know where the base stations are? - I PM'd the Ronald guy for more information a while ago but I am still waiting on a response.

I am on the Pro10+ and staying in Waverly

Having issues (I thought) with my iBurst download speed so I did a quick survey of what neighbours and family are doing and getting using speedtest.com. Download speeds only (uploads usually less than half). I am in Somerset West and the transmiiter tower is at the old age home (?) [good income for them!] which is about 1km away. According to the iBurst coverage map I am in a fringe area. My antenna is on a stand on my desk.
Neighbour 1 (ADSL): 0.3Mbps
Neighbour 2 (ADSL): 0.3Mbps
Daughter (Newlands/ADSL): 0.2Mbps!!! and 3.6Mbps from work in City Centre.
Son (Sydney, Australia/ADSL): 6.5Mbps
Me (iBurst 1Mb modem): 0.93Mbps Cape Town, 0.83Mbps International

iBurst suggested that I upgrade with the 2Mb modem and an antenna (cost, about R5.5k installed).

Who is on the Pro10+ package. i am on that package and it seems that the internet is so slow. This weekend was bad. the websites open slowly and the download speeds suck big time. My signal is 100% and when i did a speed test, then i got 128ms with a download speed of 18KBbps and n upload of 9KBps. I still have 20Gig cap and i only used almost 5gigs this hole month, and my midnight to morning is on 2gigs. Are we throttled during the day ?

Can anybody please help me! Until about a year ago I got satisfactory speeds from iBurst. Since then it has been getting slower and slower. I phoned their technical guys today and I was taken through a long process of changing settings. This has helped sweet blow all.

Although I get a 100% signal (Boston, Bellville) these are the results a few minutes ago - Down .44mbps and Up .19mbps and ping 126ms.

WHAT DO I DO? iBurst do not reply to my emails, they have no explanations on their website and their techies seem to have no idea.
Do I cancel iBurst? (I used to get such excellent service before and I get lots of GBs)
Are any of you also wanting to cancel iBurst?
Have any of you been getting any sense out of iBurst management?
I need to make a decision. Your help will be appreciated.
