Iburst Speed

So many hassles with iBurst. I have a great connection with an external antenna and speed is not one of the problems I have. I have a 1MB modem and regularly get around 700kbps on downloads.

We still use Iburst here at work and the speeds never go faster than 10KB/s on the few rare days I can maybe reach 40KB/s but thats about it!

during the evenings i get download speeds of up to 70-80kbps on torrents

i meant during some evenings but other times i only get like 3-6kbps

Torrents are heavily shaped during the day but from Midnight to 8am you can knock yourself out.

yeah i was told that when i signed up. i dont download that much so it doesnt really affect me

but i must say that when im not throttled i get great speeds

but so far i prefer iburst to telkoms adsl that i had

Might still be the before 7am theory though.
