Hi guys.

In an effort to improve our service to you, our customers, we will be performing a major system upgrade this weekend. Let’s prepare for our new iBoss system. Yes guys, it is almost time.

We are all very excited that the time has eventually come.

Please note, you will not be able to login to the iBurst website to perform any account related-activities (ie. bandwidth booster purchases, top-ups, balance enquires, etc.) from 8pm on Friday 14th August 2009 to 10pm on Monday 17 August 2009. All of these facilities will be available by contacting our 24/ 7 contact centre on 087 720 2020.

I apologise for the inconvenience caused.

Should anyone have a concern please do not hesitate to contact me.

Thanks

New update.....

Hi all

You should get your morning usage mails tomorrow morning (22nd August 2009).

The Dashboard should be ok by the end of Monday the 24th.

The usage stats on the web site totals are correct. The up and down amounts should not be taken to heart and these will be repaired by the 1st of September.

Hope this helps with your planning.

Thanks

Hi Shaun
Great news. I'm amped!
Could you tell us a bit about the new system? Is it to do with accounts/billing?
How will it improve the experience of the iBurst end user over the old system?

So - is this what we've been waiting for then? Better billing?

LOL - the word 'disillusionment' is an understatement.

Uh Shaun did I get the message wrong, is new billing system the big news for this month. I was under the impression it would be new package options.

What?! So you mean I'm the only one twitching in anticipation over what the new invoice pdfs will look like?!?!

Ha.........Ha.............*cries*....

Hey guys instead of bit##ing be happy that changes are happening. Patience..........

Holy moly .. some of u guys just never read... Jannie said in a previous thread that the No.1 priority was to get the billing system up and running. After that there will be focus on packages / product offerings. Makes sense !

Every day you guys moan and groan about the billing system, and now that its being fix you guys are like OMG OMW WTF!

Well now that iBurst is getting their billing right - which they should have had right from day 1 we should congratulate them? It's like congratulating a criminal for no longer breaking the law. Correct billing isn't a benefit, it's a basic feature. BTW I'm not saying iBurst are criminals, this is a mere example. Correct billing is something people expect from a company as a basic thing and not some value-added feature :).

Some of us are with resellers anyway who did the billing right from the 1st day anyway.

The new Boss has set the rules:

First the billing issues will be sorted.

Only then will new packages/rates etc be implemented.

Question: Why is it calles iBoss? Would iJannie not be more appropriate? :)

As long as this isn't the new package (better billing) and there is more to come in terms of packages, I'm happy.
