Hi guys,

Just starting a thread here to post updates and info to keep people updated on this platform with things relating to the iceCUBED exchange (ice3x.com).

Not everyone is on our facebook page or our twitter, so in future will post important status updates here too.

I am not account support, so if you have an issue with regard to your account, or something only an account administrator can help you with, you can open a support ticket at help.ice3.com

If I am online, I really dont mind trying to help out and give info if you have any questions. I'll try to check in every day to see if there are questions, but I would really like to use this thread more as a way to keep people informed of important updates.

Until further notice, please ONLY use the legacy version of your Bitcoin Cash address when you make a Bitcoin Cash withdrawal from iceCUBED, and NOT the CashAddr version of a BCH address.

The new CashAddr format is not yet fully supported so you need to use a legacy BCH address only for now or there will be problems.

We do have a warning on the BCH withdraw page and have posted a blog post explaining more here: https://ice3x.co.za/sending-bitcoin-cash-icecubed/

You can convert from the new CashAddr format to legacy version using a converter tool. If you are not sure, please visit a converter website and convert the address you are withdrawing to.

You will be able to choose the ‘Legacy’ version to be 100% sure that you are using the correct format. Once all the payment providers are up to date, you can safely use the new CashAddr format, but until then, please use the legacy BCH address format.

We recommend using the converter tool here: https://cashaddr.bitcoincash.org/

Just visit the website and paste the address you would like to convert. Press the ‘Convert’ button, and then the ‘Legacy’ tab to get the legacy address. Copy that address and paste it into the withdraw address text field that you want to withdraw Bitcoin Cash to on the iceCUBED exchange.
 
We have enabled Dash and Zcash deposits and withdrawals on the exchange, with the markets to open soon.

The pairing for both will be Dash/BTC and Zcash/BTC as opposed to a Rand pairing.

Monero (XMR) market has been added to the iceCUBED exchange!

Cool, haven't logged in there in a while. Nice to see a local exchange using Tradingview charts and also offering stop-limit orders. Also - if you send a pm to @rpm you can get yourself registered as a company rep with a nice red name - will add a lot to your posting here imo if people see the exchange has an official rep here.

Thanks for the info, I have sent a couple of messages, but no reply yet.

We have rolled out some cool features on the exchange. Limit, market and stop-limit order types, dark and light theme, trading view charts, bitVoucha (create crypto vouchers to share), the affiliate program, standardised transaction fees on all markets (small, medium and large monthly volume), and TFDP (Trading Fee Discount Plans) which if applied to your account give you trading fee discounts based on the plan assigned to your account.

More updates to come in the future, a lot of which are suggested or requested by users.
 
Bitcoin Cash addresses using CashAddr format now supported on http://ICE3X.com

(we also have some other upgrades going live soon to speed up fiat and crypto processing, as well as improved fraud detection system)
 
New "Trade Mode" view, NEO / ZAR market and Trailing Stop Orders are all part of the next update, client auto trade functionality is currently in beta testing :)

Very nice.
The only local exchange that's pushing proper updates to their trading platform and using proper charts.
Hope you see more volume coming your way the next few months.
 
New updates have been rolled out and are live, among them is the Trading Mode / Classic mode toggle, which allows you to switch between the two modes.

This is an example of Trading Mode on in Day Mode and Night Mode:

With the Tradingview API - is there a way to save chart layouts, objects (lines etc.), indicators etc.?

I dont think so, other than obviously taking a snapshot of your chart...i'll check with the devs and get back to you.

Hi guys, just another update on updates and improvements on ice3x.com.

We have done a lot of work on the speed optimisation for the site, and there has been a big improvement with the site being about twice as fast now.

We have added ADA (Cardano) markets in both ADA/BTC and ADA/ZAR currency pairs today, currently with 0% trading fees on the ADA/BTC trading pair.

For better security, we have added the Sessions page (https://ice3x.com/account/sessions) that lists all the open sessions with session details such as IP, Operating system and duration. There is a link to terminate specific sessions, and a "Terminate all other sessions" link to basically force log out anyone else who might be logged into your account.

We added the 'Digest' box to the Settings page, where you can choose to get a Summary email about total buys, sells, deposits and withdrawals. You can choose to have none, or a daily email, one every 3 days, or one once a week with the summary.

We have also added some new columns to the Account page showing balances, where it now show you what your balance in each currency will be if all your current limit orders closed or were matched. The total portfolio value is not quite finished yet, hopefully in the next update.

Just a quick update:
We are happy to welcome our new COO. Eugene Etsebeth, former Chairman of the Virtual Currency and Distributed Ledger Technology working group at the South African Reserve Bank (SARB).
Eugene is joining iCE3X as Chief Operating Officer, effective 1st October 2018.
