The route I went for my citizenship qualifies my children for it too. (Which is crazy if you ask me). My friend who went through the same process as me got ones for his kids too.

I think the specific route was S.4L BNA 1981.

Why you even using a 3rd party? Applying for citizenship is easy. Its an online form and you pay your fee.

Lol no I saw on a Facebook group this post and lots of peopler were panicking. I didn't know about it. I was surprised that they have cancelled so many job opportunities. Lots of people actually go over and work in the UK I just didn't think this would ever happen.

Most people are panicking if they go over on a skilled visa and then try to change jobs within the 5 years it's going to be a problem. They will have to start the whole process over.

They're not cancelling real job opportunities. They're clamping down on scams where people who are not qualified are getting in on "skilled visas" through fake jobs.

When you go in on a work permit/visa, you always need to find a new sponsor if you want to change jobs, as the visa is tied to that particular employer. Nothing changing there.

If you've got citizenship then apply to be put on the voters roll.
You will get a letter back in 2 weeks stating you are on the voters roll.

That's a no go unfortunately. "You cannot register as an overseas voter if you’ve never lived in the UK - even if you’re a British or Irish citizen."

A statement from the bank should have your address on it?

Indeed! It's just not listed as one of the accepted forms of proof of address, so I worry that it's not "official" enough especially since I can just print it myself.

I guess this means I should be able to print a tax return with my address on it and it should be valid. I suppose I'm just worried that anything that I can print myself won't "count" and it's gonna be a real PITA if I land up having to courier further proof of residence.

AFAIK documents will need to be originals. You can't print them off yourself.
