Include .Net Framework in the setup

NSIS aka Nullsoft installer is pretty common...no one ever installed Winamp? That's the installer right there in action. I've installed alot of apps lately where i noticed it being this particular installer.

(NSIS) is a script-driven Windows installation system with minimal overhead backed by Nullsoft, the creators of Winamp.

Ah, good old Winamp. I haven't used it since version 2 though. I remember the bliss of creating your first Winamp skin, complete with viz, playlist and EQ support! That's where my "customization"-fetish started. :p

Back on topic: Raithlin, I downloaded and tried many many MANY obfuscators. Some were free, others were not. The only one that actually worked was Xenocode. Yes, the free obfuscators work nicely on smaller projects, but try obfuscating an enterprise web-app with those, including a custom installer and Windows-forms based maintenance utils... You're bound to run into some compilation or execution errors at some point. That's my experience, at least.

Well, seeing as the thread derailed to code-obfuscators, talking about Xenocode IS actually on topic! :p

EDIT: ...and, another feather in Xenocode's hat (and in order to keep this post on topic), is the ability to "sandbox" your application to run without any installation. Just check out the samples on their website.
