Incompetent 8ta field technicians

Had 3rd 8ta technician at shop today, since data throughput is poor. His laptop's battery was flat, but he kept hitting the power key over and over. So I told him the complant was for the modem. "Oh no, I only know about phones" he said.

He was also 2 days late. "I got lost" he said. I showed him a GPS and he looked at it as if had a "Made on Mars" sticker on it. I can hardly credit this, for someone in a technical job. I thought he was pulling my leg, but his eyes got wide when the GPS spoke to him in a fruity English voice.

This is the 3rd tech since December 2011. Each considerably worse than the other. No-one knows or will tell me where the towers are. "You will complain" the one said. When I asked him to explain himself, he giggled.

Actually they know. Maybe they are not allowed to tell you. I saw behind shoulders they were looking at towers in my area, even they did plot a line frorm the tower to my location using elevation view.

Yea, the first two techies 8ta sent to my house accomplished absolutely nothing other than confirm everything I had been telling them for weeks. So they decided to schedule another visit, who knows why, and the guy has missed his second appointment with me.

One advice. When you speak to them next time don't pretend to be more clever than they are.
I had nice conversation, then I noticed their reaction when someone pretending to be more clever approached. They did shut down...

When you speak to them, they tell you the message will be passed on to the back office. This seems to take 6 weeks. Then they phone you to tell you someone is coming. 3 weeks later someone says they are coming the next day, so I cancel all appointments. They don't come. Last 2 times I told the girl at the shop to call me should anyone turn up. Second appointment was 10 days late, 3rd was 2 days late. Some poop excuse I would be ashamed to offer a customer

Thing is, how can I find out where 8ta cell towers are? Why is this a state secret? They are taking money under false pretences, but no-one seems ashamed of this, they think it is their right
