Does anyone know how to install Neotel’s ZTE AC2787 NeoGo DataCard modem on a PC running Ubuntu?
Unlike a 3G modem, the NeoGo DataCard modem does not appear to be Plug and Play and Ubuntu does not even identify the modem. However, in the Modem Installation Guide, it states that the modem supports Windows 2000/XP, Vista/7/MAC and Linux Operating Systems but does no explain any further.
I have contacted Neotel’s Technical Department but none of the technicians appear to know.
On a PC running Windows 10, the installation is straightforward but why not on a PC running Ubuntu?
