Intel cuts cords with wireless system

No, it is not. A microwave wavelength is 12.24 cm, while a 900mhz cellphone wavelength is 33.4cm and a 1800mhz cellphone has a wavelength of 16.7cm (BTW, your wifi also has a wavelength of 12.24cm)

EDIT: There is of course a huge difference in power output (W).

You agree with him in a way and at the same time disagree? Is that even possible.

Basic calculus? :p

the applications are endless, just hold your food up in the air to heat(just don't stand up though), move that microwave anywhere around the house as for the tv, :D

Err....
I can be wrong, but isnt magnets VERY VERY bad for hardrives?
for that matter. Magnets affects electrical currents as well (That is exactly how electricity is generated in the first case.) So, i would prefer to keep this kind of electricity far far away from my 10 grand pc. thank you very much :)

Hard drives can probably be sovled by SSD's.... but still to expensive.

Think its safe to wait that 50 years rather :D

Big "magnet" in my room? There goes my computer, cellphone, spykers in die dak, speakers, hifi, pens and clutch pencils... Houston, we have a problem. Oh damn, my phones not working.
