I think they pulled the update, it was available earlier and now my iOS 8.0 is up to date.

:Woot: ??

[Edit]: The problems appear to only be affecting iPhone 6/6+ users. Phew.

Seems update has been pulled. Pretty big stuff-up this by Apple.

This has to raise some questions about all the supposed carrier testing that has to be done before updates can be released. I now have a version on my phone that no longer exists, surely MTN or Vodacom has not even had a chance to test it then?

Worse update ever :D

People are going ballistic on MacRumors...

I see issues includes Wi-Fi connectivity... There will be people sitting with bricks, mainly due to their available tools and limited knowledge (tech-savviness). Apple cocked up, big time. Jobs would had gone crazy, sending employees packing.

My iPhone 6 is basically a brick now. Luckily wifi is still working but it's basically useless. Busy download the iOS 8.0 ipsw so that I can restore back but it's going to take me all night to download. Unless Apple release an 8.0.2 within the next hour. I'm beyond ****en angry right now.

One oddity on my iPhone 4S is that when I open a folder, the corners of the folder shrink on by a few pixels some moments after it opened. Just before closing it they seem to pop out again. Never noticed this on 8.0.0, but can't say it wasn't there.

8.0.2 OTA just broke my phone... Went into DFU mode on install... Downloading the IPSW file to do an ALT-Restore now. :(

Installed iOS 8.0.2 OTA on my iPhone 6. Zero issues. Everything is working as it should now.
