Installed iOS 8.0.2 on my iPad 3, no issues...
My iPad 3 still sluggish as hell.
My mum in law's 5S does this as well, but this was pre 8. anything. Maybe once a week. Bizarre.Last week my iPhone 4S with iOS 8.0.2 started to lose cellular service. It now seems like once a day that it just suddenly says No Service and the only way to get it back is reboot, airplane mode does nothing.
The phone is almost three years old, so it could be the phone or iOS. My wife's 5S also does this, but far less frequently. Really hoping iOS 8.1 comes soon and fixes it.

Indeed
It's no longer enjoyable to use, I used to love it for reading Flipboard at night and now I just use my G2 for this because the experience is just smoother.
Think I'm going to donate mine to the parents.
So 8 is still sluggish on the iPad 3, looks like I may never upgrade beyond 7 then. 7 was sluggish in the beginning and I don't want to go through that just now. It's just annoying that app developers stop support for certain apps unless you're running the latest update.
Kept IOS7 on my kids iPad 2, had a fiddle last night on it and the difference between it and my iPad 3 on IOS8 is immense.
Ipad 2 still flies....whereas I want to throw my iPad3 out the window, can't even open Skype at the moment.

Hardly - the problem is the iPad 3 - it always has been. Why do you think it had the shortest lifespan of all the iPads... by 100 days.IOS8 = Vista of the Apple world. I'm always poking fun at Android for being slow and sluggish...My S4 feels like a dream compared to my Ipad.
Hope Tim Cook fires the entire IOS8 development team.
