iPhone 15 Rumours & Release Date

My White 15 PM had over 160 cycles and was still at 100%, when I checked its health with Coconut Battery it seemed to suggest that I still had a long way to go to 99% as the capacity was at 101% or so, the battery’s capacity was like 4490mAh when new.
The dude in the Tweet’s phone may have come with capacity closer to Design capacity.

My new Black 15 Pro Max has even more capacity at 4529mAh, so should take a lot longer to hit 99% to.

Why on earth did you have 2x 15 PM’s lol

With 70% battery I've gotten 9.5 hours of screen-on-time which included 5 hours of streaming Dolby Vision Netflix at max brightness.

One battery cycle probably gets me 12.5-13 hours.
This man has 229 cycles in 200 days since the 15PM came out. That's insane. This guy must be sitting on TikTok 15 hours a day.
Two questions:
1. Do you use dark mode exclusively
2. Do you turn off mobile/cellular when connected to WiFi?

Light mode for 12 hours, dark mode the other 12.
Always wifi with mobile data off.
Thanks, that second one seems like a real kicker. If you leave mobile data on, it drains significant battery.

White one got stolen, insurance replaced it with a Black one.

Never remove it from your devices. It’s completely useless to anyone who has it until you do. And if you start getting nasty messages and notice it’s in China when you use Find My, there are some tasty replies on Reddit you can send about Winnie the Pooh, etc.

How did it get stolen? Essentially it's a brick anyway. There isn't any use to anyone if it's locked to your Apple account.
Got pickpocketed at a bar in Rosebank. Yep, it is essentially a brick, they are DESPERATELY trying to get into it by spamming me with with SMSs that claim to have found my phone along with a fake iCloud link, lol, that link is essentially a Phishing scam where they collect ones Apple ID and password on a fake iCloud login page. Not my first rodeo, so I know not to do anything.

The phone is now living its best life somewhere in India…

Yep, I won’t, it’s not my first rodeo, so I will continue to keep my Apple ID on it, same thing happened with my 11 Pro Max, it’s still sitting in my Find My, with that phone I think they eventually took it apart for parts.
My 15 Pro Max has gone to India instead of China, lol, seems these syndicates are primarily between those 2 countries.

They have been spamming me daily with those SMSs, I have a good laugh each time I see one because they are sitting with a whole 15 Pro Max 512GB, they could make some proper dosh from it, but the person they took it from is too stubborn to remove his Apple ID:laugh:, it must be absolutely frustrating them.

My only qualm is that my new 15 Pro Max is black, which I don’t completely mind, but I have had waaaayyy too many Black/Space grey Apple devices and I absolutely loved how it looked in White with the raw titanium, it looked absolutely stunning and I was planning on getting a light brown leather case for it, ah well, next time I guess,

Will checkout Reddit  Thanks!

Avoided charging today to have another look.

3hr45 Screen on time (averaging 50% brightness in light mode) during a variety of tasks - Google maps, social media, WhatsApp, cellular phone calls etc.

Plus standby time makes it 9hr15 total (of which 5 hours were on 4G and the rest on WiFi with mobile data still enabled in background).

Used 40%. Drained it faster than I’m used to but still quite impressed, the phone this replaced would be flat by now.

Apple iPhone 15 Pro long-term review

Great read, GSMarena never really miss.
Hardware on 15 Pro and Pro Max is outstanding.
iOS is in need of a revamp, it is deeply overdue, we have had large screened iPhones now for almost a decade, still you cannot fit more icons and widgets on a Pro Max or Plus model versus a Pro/standard model, Apple are still stuck on the original design ethos of iOS of simplicity while they add more features which begins to create a rather complex situation for them.

It’s my 7 month of 15 Pro Max ownership and I am overall loving it but it is definitely not perfect, that being said, looking at what is available on the market in terms of flagships, the 15 PM is definitely the one that suits me the best overall.

At this point, we are ready to move on from iOS to something that is more in line with modern features and user expectations.
Lol buy a lagdroid and it's bloatware. Took me 2 hours just to setup a Samsung Galaxy A54.
Maybe this is also a good time to mention how a down swipe on the homescreen brings up Spotlight, a gesture that has existed on the iPhone forever but has rarely ever made sense as most people would rather access the Notification Center or the Control Center instead.
Yeah no I use it a lot. If you have a bunch of apps installed it's faster than either hunting for an icon or using the app library.
This results in a poor experience for the user as the back swipe gesture they are used to does not work and they have to stretch their thumb every time to hit the back button on the top.
Or just use reachability without having to stretch your thumb at all.

Is there any way to get Trucaller working in real-time like on android or is it relegated to a neat tool that can only be used after the phonecall to see who it was?

Edit : Found it, just have to use Siri. Assigned it to the action button since I don't really use it.
