Iphone 3GS activation hiccup

Hi

I have a 3GS which was bough from the States. It was working beautifully(jailbroken & unlocked) until i decided to update the firmware to 4.0.1.
No my phone is locked and I need to activate my iphone with an AT&T sim.

Anybody came across the same problem? Anyone managed to solve it without the sim? Any place i could maybe take it to?

Or maybe someone has an AT&T sim i could use to activate? i stay in JHB

Hi there, do a google search for the phonebook sim trick. Ive run across it from time to time. That should sort you out. Ive got the 3gs from the states (with sim) but still waiting for the new greenpois0n crack to come out. Might be better to just wait for that ... should be out within the next few days.

You need a phonebook sim or an AT & T SIM. I used to have one.
