Minimooks dropped her 4S and the screen is smashed. Phone itself still works perfectly. My old iPhone 4S is just gathering dust in a draw (wifi doesn't work) so I thought I could just swop the screens but the Apple store refuses to do it saying although they're the same model, the parts are different.
Personally I think they're just trying to milk another €200+ out of me (after the €40 spent on replacing the smashed back cover last month, I'm not super keen).
Are they right? Is the screen on the older 4S really different from the newer 4S? They're probably only 18mnths apart...
