Core don't make a Cent off the early imports and the importers will keep those prices inflated 'till the phone is available here on the 14th.

+1 As much I love the Android system, the sucky battery life, tempermental OS and slow official update routes are becoming more than irritating.

See, you must learn to read good. Since I have a US iPhone I paid $749 for the 32Gb out of contract. Add in US state tax and you'll find I paid around 7.5k for my 32Gb iPhone 5.

If you also read my previous posts, you will see I also laugh at the people who pay 14k for the grey imports locally.

Once again, 7.5k for my 32Gb iPhone 5. That's a fair price.

The 4s works out to be R9600 for the 64gb model - I wouldnt expect the 5 to be priced any differently.

Will get mine on contract. Anytime 350 at around R550 I'm hoping (16gb) or R650 (32gb). Lumia 920 goes for R499 on this package.
