Is it just me, or is this time around the event super hyped. The watch rumor has been around for 3 years, yet no info on suppliers it anything else.

They haven't pushed the Gold Master out to devs yet.

How far in advance do these two powerhouse companies give notice to such events? Reason being that Samsung and Apple have/are releasing flagship devices within a week of each other, and I just wonder if Apple knew Samsung's date and thereafter wanted to reveal their showpiece after Sammy or Samsung got wind of Apple's date and thereafter wanted to reveal their flagship first....or, there really is no date-choreography, merely dates set in stone many months ago.

In 2007, 2008, 2009, 2011, 2012 and 2012, there has been an Apple keynote within the two first weeks of September so it's highly doubtful that Apple chooses its dates in connexion with Samsung's dates.

For Samsung's announcements, I have no idea.

Will probably be following The Verge's live feed just to take in the key announcements, then reading the detailed articles on Anandtech tomorrow. I've watched the keynote before, and a lot of it can be skipped.
