Okay so it works sometimes? Just slow or what?

Then it's not the digitizer ribbon cable at least.

Or unlikely to be unless it's pinched in such a way that it connects and disconnects randomly, but very unlikely.

Like now I'm responding on my phone no issues etc. But maybe in an hour or in the morning it will play up a bit. Haven't had time to restore the software again...

Play up how exactly?

Do you wear gloves or would it be at other temperature related instances?

No I don't wear gloves. Doubt it has anything to do with temp.

By play up I mean, the touch screen will work then not. Then I'll lock the phone and unlock then it'll work for a bit then not.

Sounds exactly like the kind of behaviour I have when I've been wearing gloves.

But since you aren't doing that I'm guessing it must be software somehow.

Yeah defn no gloves. Last time I wore gloves was when I played cricket 6 years ago!
