iPhone 6s

9.2 is a fairly big deal where I am, it's enabled VoLTE and 800Mhz coverage (which gives a huge jump in LTE coverage). So I'll be getting 800Mhz, 1800Mhz and 2600Mhz, I shouldn't be seeing much 3G from now on ;).

Quite the contrary. One of the first tweaks I install is Speed Intensifier. What it does is speed up the many animations baked into iOS. There a number of settings one can choose from on a sliding scale of 1 - 10 with 10 eliminating animations altogether.

The m7's 468ppi 1080p screen is a tough one for the 6s to contend with. Ppi on both 6/6s is quite underwhelming by top end standards.

I fully agree with your last statement and unfortunately it only became apparent after a few days of using the new phone.

I might get rid of it...

and where is that?

If you only use a iPhone you get used to the low ppi. Problem is every now and again when I pick up my m8 I can immediately notice how much more crisp the picture is. Especially text.

Yep, I agree.

iOS 9.2 seems more snappy on the 6s, other than Music improvements I haven't really noticed a big difference? Although it finally addresses the OCD inducing bug where Settings would open scrolled down!

No problems here either, iPhone 6s, 5s and an iPad Air 2.

I actually think my battery life is a bit better.

I wish I could say the same. I couldn't believe the amazing battery life I was getting on 9.1 but maybe it was too good to be true.

Just got my first iphone today coming from a long line of samsung phones. Must say this 6s is a BEAST

No one should buy that. Even for the most harregat fanbois will struggle

Well, the design allows it to fit in a dock, so that's nice! Keeping the size big at the top would be unnecessary

I went and had a look at it in an Apple Store, it looks much better in reality, the bump is pretty subtle, it's also much cleverer than other branded ones, it can even show each battery status (case and internal) on the iPhone screen.

Quite easy on and off as well, if I thought I needed one I would buy one, the look is fine, it's pricy though and I've just bought a 22400Mah battery pack so don't see the need for it. Still tempted though...

You'd be surprised.

The fanboys are saying what a terrific design it is, since the cover has the gap at the top and bottom you can hold the phone without feeling like it has a cover on. And that the hump is a nice place to rest against your finger as support.

Fanboyism has no limits.
