They're catching up big time though.
I think at one point they were behind the industry by 3 years or more, now they're probably on a generation behind. That's pretty decent and credit is due
...and they will take the other party to court for copyright violations.

Maybe so. Hopefully they will improve native email app / notifications / 3rd party keyboards in the next version of iOS. These are my main gripes with my 6s.

Seriously though, my friend has a 6S and I must admit I was pretty impressed with a few things on that phone (like the moving photo's), what I didn't know was that it they didn't come up with the idea. But then, given Apple's track record, shame on me for being surprised at that.

I spend +- 12 hours a day on a Macbook pro. I have the perspective of someone who is forced to use an Apple product. Which means I look at Apple through a very critical eye.
As for the weed: we all know why people want "Medical Cannabis"

Have to disagree there. The latest 6s duo devices are excellent & cater for all. The show offs right through to the power user.
The quality of the Apps imo are still better than the same/equivalent of the top shelf Droid flagships.
Not too mention to this day there are still a wide variety of Apps that 1st come to iOS & eventually rolled out to Android.
It just seems iOS is the "place to be" if you are a dev.

$99 a year just to be able to test your app on an actual phone. So if you want to try out a proof of concept you either need to make the investment or Jailbreak.
And that is before you need an Apple computer to develop the apps.

The real reason being the fragmentation of the Android device market. Hundreds (Thousands?) of different handsets with different specs. Its a bit of a nightmare to develop an app that will run on the majority of your target market. Compare that to the Iphone with only a handful of current devices then it doesn't take a genius to see why iPhones will always have more apps. And that's before Apple intervene and pay the developers a premium for exclusive rights.

They have relaxed that part of provision. Anyone can side load a Xcode built app now.
