Iphone: Get one now or wait for new one?

As heading says; do you think I should extend my contract now and get an Iphone now or should I wait for the WWDC (8-12 June) and see if the new one is released?

Also, where would I get the best deal on an Iphone now? :confused:

I'd wait just to see what they're going to release even if its not June.
 
I just had a look at the "new" 16Gb 3G white version, looks tacky imho, so I got another 8Gb one :)

I've got the 8gb too. Plenty for now but I'm thinking about installing Myst and that's going to suck up a gb or so.

and what kinda contract can you get the 8gig on?

I want one and need a new contact but not prepired to sell a kidney. :p
 
The same contract that was running a month or so back. The "special" that they had, +-R180 pm for 24 mnths
 
Anybody have any info on when and where the announcement for the next generation Iphone will be made?
 
End June (as far as I have heard) not many changes, more ram, an elctromagnetic compass??? and the same screen and battery :)
 
Wtf you wanna wait for? There will ALWAYS be something newer and better coming out. If you want to wait, you may as well wait forever.
The "new" one will arrive here 6 months after everyone else gets it, will be similar, and will be hugely overpriced.
Remember the pricing on the 16 Gig? Can you imagine what the 32 Gig is going to cost new?
Personally, 8 Gigs is ok for me, the new software will solve most issues, and by the time the 64 Gig comes out in a year, I'll be ready to buy the 32 Gig for a bargain.

Oh..and Btw..although the 8gig was supposed to be sold out everywhere, Mweb has them at a bargain too.
R185 per month on Business, no pay in. Same deal as before, and that is a steal.
Yes, they have stock, I phoned them.
That's R4440 total for the 8 Gig iPhone over 24 months. What was the selling price of it from Vodacom? :D

Most likely at Apple's WWDC early next month.
