Yeah but it weighs 280g, that's 25% heavier than the Nokia 9500 Communicator I had and even that felt like a real brick. It's just not a pocket friendly device. If you spend any reasonable amount of time just listening to music, something like the Cowon makes no sense. I think that describes 90% of the population and that's why the iP* continues to dominate as the de facto multimedia king.

If you're talking primarily video, and especially video with subtitles where the high resolution would make a difference, then go for the Cowon. That's a very specialised market though.
