Is AbsoluteHosting down?

Sorry to be "that guy", how long does it normally take for all VPS services to be up again? We have Genoa, Bergamo and Milan VPS servers but all are still down
We had 3 hosts down this afternoon how ever had many flaps which only aggravated and complicated the issues.

Apologies to everyone affected by this, we know it’s less than ideal and affects you and we are doing our best to get everything back to normal.

Updates may take some time but know that we aren’t leaving till this is resolved.
 
We have 6 VPSes with Absolute Hosting, 5 are still down at the moment, 1 came up a few hours ago. Definitely not a network problem because the VPS that did come up had an notification that it had been unexpectedly shutdown.

All I can say is thank **** this didn't happen on a week day otherwise we would be screwed.

Ugh. Sunday is the first day of the week in my part of the world. Extremely upset client.
 
quite frustrating with no comms on what is going on. been down since just after 8am this morning. running a numberplate system for a non-profit "customer". Maybe just create a Facebook page or whatever and keep customers informed.

I have been with you guys since 07h53 this morning, but boss and all our users breathing down my neck (read: blowing goddamn fire on my head) makes it insanely difficult here. Please just give me something to get back our users here. Will we back up tomorrow morning? I understand you "aren’t leaving till this is resolved", but is this something in your ability to resolve?

If we knew how long it would take to fix we would have said so already - problem solving takes time and I’m sorry that we haven’t been able to give you a solid answer.

what is happening with this!? VPS is still down! Wish budget services provided budget - but this has been happenign one too many times without any reasonable comms

You literaly show zero care to your customers! Why dont you just type out an apolgy email with detailed information on the cause and expected resolution time (like domains or any other normal company) to all affected customers - saying you posted on mybb is a total joke, had to come here to check your status since 2 week ago when there was an outage and i complained that there were zero comms the rude reply was we reported on mybb - not all of us spend our life on mybb! (had to reset password to login here). Seriously dont like this attitude - this is no way to treat customers who host multiple vps's with you and trust you with their buissesn and sustain your c**p service monthly!

We understand there is an outage, and we appreciate the fact that it is being attended to. Our question is regarding a timeline. At 13h24 we were told that VPS servers is coming back online. We relayed that to our clients, but seeing as their services are not online 9 hours later makes it fairly difficult for us to provide a smokescreen. Jade, we are with you, and we are on your side. I will support you with everything in me, but I need to give feedback to the powers that be. Anything, please, I know a timeline is not always possible, worst case scenario?
 
All I hear here is crickets…. Shocking! Would highly suggest moving paid customers to an ec2 instance - not that expensive.
 
VPS is back online...

Couldnt connect initially on putty or ping the vps... Logged in on client zone, stopped my vps and started again and im now able to access my sites.

Edit: Seems the clientzone is working faster now. Was a bit slow previously, will check again later in the day.

Thanks for the tip here to restart the VPS. Our VPS is also now back online after restarting all of them. Now we wait for Wordpress... And any response from @Jade @ Absolute Hosting

We’ve now managed to get all vps hosts up and running and are working on one of the Wordpress hosts that have an issue.

Thanks @Jade @ Absolute Hosting Good luck with the Wordpress Host(s). Will the .Net Core hosts be up with them as well?
