Is Afrihost currently down?

I've had to write so much code by hand because of this
 
Yep Down in Johannesburg as well. Afrihost please can you put pressure in getting this resolved

Thought I'd escaped this then at 1030 today happily in the middle of a teams meeting bam... Offline...

Nothing all because password and username off

WhatsApp support unresponsive too... Not their normal level of support. Maybe everyone is on leave for elections :)

Yup - def looks like an auth issue - do they still use RADIUS servers - not sure how the new tech works.
Could be a Windows NT server with an expired SSL cert :D

Interesting I know at our company there is redis maintenance and issues as well. Maybe a more global redis issue? ‍♂️
 
clearly something is proper farked
getting mtu errors for ipv6 being set to 1500 so i set max to 1492 and now it wont reconnect :-|

This has only been a recent thing from what I have seen, not sure what changed.
For sure, I have seem them being online and active sorting issues or at lest updating people in the past but this time they are painfully silent here.
 
The complete lack of communication and transparency is astounding. All we get is "we're working on it". An explanation of what's gone wrong, and what they're doing to fix it, and how long it's expected to take would be useful. They've even deleted the tweet mentioning this and are going on their merry way with marketing bull****.

Can I get a data-only account from another ISP? Like, I just want 50GB and user/pass combo.
 
My Afrihost/Openserve fiber was working fine until 09h15 this morning, but since then it's failed to connect.

You could probably get a test account from cool ideas to use.
