Is anyone else mining? I'm a noob.

Cleaned my case, it was dusty AF.

Got a much lower temperature now with a higher overclock.

Went from 29 to 30 hash

Great thread been itching to try but this makes it really simple. What location are you guys using ?
 
I should probably try to buy another 290 from my friend, but then I'd need a stronger PSU.

Guess I could get a 1050ti, not sure if NiceHash allows dual mining like that? I'm using Claymores atm.

Dual mining how? With different GPUs? Hells yeah it does! I'm running two 1050ti's and an HD7850.

Edit:

I messed around with my OC, decided to see what I can do. I went from 927 OC to 1119 core and 1250 to 1349 memory

Gave me 31.3 mhs, the scary part is with fans at 85% speed my card is only 68 degrees.

A bit hesitant to OC more though, my it's almost a 200 mhz OC...

You can drop the core clock, higher memory clock is where the magic happens.

Fix the RAM clock to point where you are happy (mine is around +450), and then gradually drop the power until you start seeing hash drops, you could save some power that way. Could probably get it down with at least 10%.

Played around with it, dropping my core clock makes the hash go down to 28.3 I'm not sure why, but it happens more with my core than with my memory clock.

idk why, but that's what happens :\
