i remember the first MP3 I ever got. Only one song. nobody knew how to rip off CDs yet. The fact that my computer was playing music was insane. It was unbelievable. People were even talking about building Pcs into cars for sound systems. Doesnt actually feel like that long ago....
 
Oh man, BorgIRC was awesome. Load it, change your nick (so you don't get perma-banned), walk into a room and OP yourself before -o -k everyone and then leave.
Being an admin in #PE was also cool, but it got too much eventually and I left bored.

#warez as well...awesome. Wait for guys to post details on their FTP sites and hope and pray the R7 weekend never got spoilt by someone wanting to use the phone.

OMG the R7 weekend! YES! The nostalgia in this thread right now is real...
 
Telkom R7 weekend plan plus it cost R50 a month just for the service.
But those naais would disconnect you on a Saturday and then you were kinda like forced to dial in again for another 7 bux
