A link on the mybroadband home page would be great, where you could do an independent / non ISP specific status of adsl/3g/international links.

Some ISP's have great status pages, some not. You need to be a "member" to see the saix notices, and you can't even log in there at the moment.


Axxess and Afrihost status pages are reporting TELKOM issues with adsl in Germiston. Rosebank, Pretoria and New Doorfontein.

We have customers with ongoing Telkom issues in the Meyersdal/New Redruth area.

Perhaps a forum thread where "suspected" issues can be notified.

TELKOM 3g is also out in the Mulbarton Area at the moment. Vodacom unstable poor signal where I am. Connected via MTN 3g at the moment.

MYBB use to post SAIX outages, not sure when and why it stopped.

I eventually got logged into SAIX notices time to repair 5Hrs on some of the Pretoria issues. Problem isolated to Germiston for the Johannesburg problems no time to repair yet.

There is a major fault on the Telkom network at the moment in gauteng affecting numerous areas and numerous ISPs moving over this part of the network, resulting in failed authentication. If you have a connection, then I suggest not resetting the connection until further notice.
