Thats right, level 7 packet filtering.. Ill have a more detailed layout of the can and cannots in next few minutes.

Eish the age old question - will Skype be entirely usable? I use my phone less and less and may as well have my headphones surgically implanted :)

clipse, why the startup fee?

To cover the included router fee among other things. The rest of it, you can ask IS self ;-) its their pricing not mine :(

Would consider it in the new year, most likely the 192k.
Is DC++ also included in the blocked traffic. I actually use it and Bittorrent for get ligit goodies now and then, but if not so sad

**edit** more then than now

Would be more interested in an affordable 10GB/20GB/30GB account.. been on the net since 95/96 so its nothing new, so personally dont need uncapped :) would prolly pay R350/400 for 30GB tho.. at the most.

I second that Mad, well i dont think any ISP would supply uncapped for p2p give the current strangle hold on broadband by telkom and there SATCABLE.

BUT YE 300-400 rand for a 30gb cap is what is needed.

Im busy formulating a more complete overview of the can and cannots, will post it hopefully later tonight. This will avoid most of the ordinary questions ;-)

Soz, seems I got a cached copy of this topic, and didn't see your earlier answer.

Ok every1 please read original post of mine, ive updated it with bit more info regarding p2p and voip and telnet

Another couple:
1. Router configuration. Will we be able to setup port forwarding, and blocking on the router
2. What router is it? Need to know whether it will work in my environment.

The cheaper solution is a billion, the more expensive is a cisco 807 Series.

No client access available for the cheaper solution, whatever forward you require, we will have to set for you beforehand.

for me con-currents are important and p2p.

come on , can you imagine internet with no p2p.
Diddy

Well in this country there is offices, who would be saving alot of money via this rather than buying multiple 10gigs even if its from SAOL.

I'm definitely interested in the 192k. Anything to get away from Sentech.

is that mean the Bit commit and winmx is work and not block?
the cost of 384k is R900? quite good for me if it is truth
