No. Ask your self a question why are all the Arab countries starting to allow services like skype. Becuase it can now be intercepted. Voip can be intercepted as easily as normal TDM network.

Erm, Skype is pretty secure compared to SIP based services. Skype is actually a pain for most governments.

At the end of the day nothing is secure, everything gets cracked unless you go extreeme and use something like 256bit AES keys etc.
