Good day
My little sister has received an email from her ISP who forwarded her an email from an agent representing Paramount Global companies CBS Broadcasting Inc. She downloaded a series episodes for my mother from a torrenting site and they picked it up.

I have checked their region and this ISP has sole monopoly in their area and they can not change to a more chilled ISP. Any advise? VPN the only option?

XoXo

VPN or have access to a private torrent site, pretty much no Copyright infringement on these private torrent sites

That's crazy since most ISPs in the country send those notices straight to the bin.
She should either use a VPN or download her torrents through Real-Debrid (I recommend the latter).

I’m assuming that they stay in the USA because that happening is common over there.
Need to use a vpn or use an online torrenting service.

They stay in a local coastal town, thanks for the advice

IKR, its the first time I have seen an ISP actually send such email. Thanks for the advice

Anyone using a VPN along with a torrent app should make sure the VPN is covering the whole device's environment, often a setup is specifically for a particular chosen browser only. And some VPN's are not good enough at what they do anyway.

Use something like Stremio with a RealDebrid account.

Strange.

Which ISP sent this 'Copyright Infringement'? We don't want to be users of any ISP that bows to political pressure.

@backstreetboy do your thing and tell him about windscibe :)
Yep, Windscribe is one of the best (is my choice).

@Nibiru , there's also this interesting website that replaces any app and will protect a torrent stream automatically with no VPN needed, and even convert the stream to a download.

Edit: Both available free, Windscribe depending on usage

No you can use https://alldebrid.com/?uid=2ok9e&lang=en. 3 EUR per month and you can download the torrents via HTTP https://alldebrid.com/magnets/. Cheap as chips.

Safe to divulge this information here? They have the monopoly in the region so a boycott wont really work.
