From their general past performance, will probably be completed by sunday soonest, or they have outlier miracles and complete by thursday. They seldomly complete on the time they stipulate. After they open the valves there will probably be more water supply interruptions localized in individual suburbs from burst pipes needing repair when the pressure is restored.

Possible, yeah I could shower and by 9am it was gone.

Dear Residents

Councillors are currently on a follow up meeting with Joburg Water regarding the impact of the Rand Water Shutdown.

Work to Eikenhof has started and is in Progress.

Joburg Water has indicated that as of this morning, Roodepoort and surrounding areas are the most affected by the shutdown.

Below is a overview of the Roodepoort System:

- The overall System is low to empty.
- No supply at all direct supply points.
- All towers are now empty.
- Reservoirs are low to empty.

Areas affected in Ward 85 are:

- Discovery
- Ontdekkerspark
- Carenvale
- Horison
- Kloofendal
- Helderkruin
- Strubensvalley
- Little Falls
- Princess
- Groblerspark

A updated list of JOJO's and roaming tankers has been requested from Joburg Water and will be shared once received.

We will have another update report meeting on Friday Morning as well as on Sunday.

Yup I get my info from ward 85 councillor as ward 97 is about as useful as a fever blister

Yeah, also thought we'd still have low pressure but still some water here in Strubensvalley. No water from around 3am this morning.

Yeah but its based on the elevation levels. So I know high lying areas loss water supply first. I'm upper strubens so houses further down to HP still get water. That's what I think though.

I'm in Wilgeheuwel side close to Strubens so did have water till 9am yesterday, wish I still did :-) this not showering is getting to me
