I think it's just a bit 'low rent' to have a thread where people get voucher numbers from each other, yes... but who the **** cares what I think anyway...

Not as low rent as people who justify not paying waiters and car guards though.

95% of the vouchers mentioned here are mass mailed to people anyway. For me, this thread draws attention to emails I have received but not paid attention to. Thanks for your contribution though :)
 
He's probably one of the 'I paid more for it so its better crew' . One of my family is like that. We bought the exact same thing (make and model), but he insisted his was better because his was pricier.

Nobody.

I'm sure when Kalahari offered all customers R100 off with the DEAL100 voucher, for the whole of August, it was just a 'glitch' in their system. They must have accidentally advertised it all over their website, and conveniently forgotten to remove it from their system when everyone began exploiting it!

Or maybe (just maybe!) they intentionally offer these promotional vouchers in order to increase their sales. Maybe these vouchers serve a bigger purpose then simple cost reductions. Perhaps they encourage people to sign up, and convince potential customers to purchase goods they otherwise would not have (I know I'm guilty of this). These successful sales can change people's perceptions about the quality of their service, and convince unsatisfied customers to give them another shot (kalahari has earned plenty of these customers).

I don't know why, but I tend to think that kalahari puts a lot of thought into it before they run such campaigns and, seeing as though they keep offering them, I get the feeling that they work quite well. Unfortunately, not everybody subscribes to their newsletters, or trolls their site, so these types of threads are quite useful in spreading the awareness of these campaigns.

I guess you're right tho, anyone who uses these vouchers is "low rent". Kalahari voucher users NEVER tip waiters and car guards. They are the scum of the earth!
 
Stop buying compulsively and wait for vouchers to be shown on here. Just add the things you want in wishlist basket. That way when there's a voucher just add the items that amount to R350. Then wait for the next one.... Already have R100 added to my account due to a cock up on my part.
